No — we're a Public Benefit Corporation. That means we're a for-profit company with a legally binding commitment to our mission. Our board is required to consider the health of the food system, not just shareholder returns. We can raise investment, generate revenue, and pay our team — while staying accountable to the mission.

Those are standalone products. We're building connected infrastructure — an identity system, a community-governed food standard, a vendor marketplace, a supply chain, and a growing platform, all linked by one ID and one standard. Any of them could build on ERFA — and we'd welcome it.

Yes. Your ERFA ID works with whichever apps you want. Each app is independent.

Health data lives inside Healla, scoped to your account. It is never shared with other apps without your explicit consent. Your ERFA ID only stores the basics — handle, name (if you choose), and region.

The Real Food Standard is being built by the Healla community — people with verified firsthand experience of the conditions real food helps. Not us. Not a panel. Not a corporation. Until the community governance system is live, the founding team maintains a starting standard (v0) based on available science and community input.

No. Organic is a USDA certification. The Real Food Standard is broader — it covers ingredients, preparation, cooking oils, and sourcing, and it's set by the community, not the government.

No. The only app that will touch crypto is Realest Trade (our supply chain platform), and only if you choose to participate as a farmer or verifier. Everything else is regular web — email, a code, done.
